As parents, you've played a special role in your student's success — and earning admission to Berkeley is no small success. Simply put, Berkeley is the best public teaching and research university in the nation. Our students find their experience here exciting and energizing, as they navigate the frontiers of knowledge with some of the top scholars in the nation. I hope you will follow their educational journey here and share in the excitement of this remarkable campus.

Your students will find help at Berkeley if they ask — encourage them to seek out professors, get to know staff members, and look for opportunities to meet new friends, whether in living groups, classes, or campus activities of every stripe.
