Cal Parents Ambassadors are dedicated to championing Cal. Currently, a group of 300 parents, grandparents, and guardians of undergraduate students, Ambassadors participate in year-round volunteer opportunities to spread goodwill to thousands of families–across the country and beyond–through community events, campus activities and one-on-one outreach. Ambassadors receive monthly e-newsletters that highlight upcoming events and activities. Sign-ups are totally voluntary and self-initiated. Briefings or trainings are provided prior to each volunteer activity. Ambassadors also receive insider campus news and have Cal Parents staff readily available to answer their questions, making them better equipped to help their students navigate their time at Berkeley while having fun engaging with other Cal parents.
Become an Ambassador to:

- Welcome and share first-hand knowledge with incoming students and families
- Take part in optional peer-to-peer fundraising and thank you calls
