The University of California, Berkeley is committed to providing its students the very best education. Thus, we attract the finest faculty members, we endeavor to maintain excellent classroom and laboratory facilities, and we support literally hundreds of co-curricular activities that enhance the quality of the Berkeley student’s experience. For the campus to function as a university community, it is essential that students assume their individual responsibilities to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the university’s function as an educational institution. Rules concerning student conduct, student organizations, use of university facilities, and related matters are set forth in both university policies and campus regulations.
