A Cultural Mecca — Take advantage of this special opportunity to visit the UC Berkeley Art Museum, Hearst Museum of Anthropology, and UC Botanical Garden or attend a musical or dance performance.

Friday, Oct. 6
Cal Parents Reception — 5-7 p.m. 
Get acquainted with other Cal families at this informal reception on the patio of Hertz Hall, the student concert facility. The University Gamelan Ensemble provides entertainment.
Homecoming Rally — 7 p.m.
Don’t miss this chance to learn Cal cheers and songs at this traditional Homecoming event for students, parents, and alumni.

Saturday, Oct. 7
Breakfast with Chancellor and Mrs. Birgeneau — 9-9:45 a.m.
Join Chancellor and Mrs. Birgeneau for conversation and a continental breakfast at the Campanile Esplanade.
Parents Campus Walking Tour — 10 a.m.
Get to know the campus on this student-led walking tour, designed just for parents, highlighting architecture and history. 
Bear Affair Barbeque — 1-4:30 p.m.
Before the football game, enjoy a barbeque at the Campanile Esplanade with live entertainment from Cal student groups.
Cal Football vs. Oregon — 5 p.m.
Root the Golden Bears on to victory over the Oregon Ducks in a Pac-10 contest.

Sunday, Oct. 8
Family Picnic at the Campanile — 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Enjoy a box lunch while you reminisce about the weekend and make plans for your next campus visit.
