Summer 2007 | For anyone pondering the mysteries of life at Berkeley, there’s no better time to search for answers than Parents Weekend at Homecoming, a luminous three-day supernova of faculty
lectures, tours, rallies, open houses, and sports. The Oct. 12-14 event gives you a chance to visit the campus, chat with the chancellor, connect with other families, and see that your student is doing great at Berkeley.
A full slate of activities is planned for parents. The complete program is online at homecoming.berkeley.edu; register to attend there or complete and return the form included in your invitation, which was mailed last month. Look for the special package of parent events.
Be sure to make your travel and lodging arrangements early, as fall is a popular time for visits to Berkeley. Accommodations near campus are listed at calparents.berkeley.edu/visiting, or in the Visitor Guide included in the spring issue of Letter Home. For more information about the weekend, call 888/864-8225 or the Cal Parents helpline at 510/642-7147. We hope to see you in October! |
