The Bear's Lair
Five restaurants offer an array of cuisine at student-friendly prices;
in the lower level of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Union.
Café Muse
The café at the Berkeley Art Museum is open daily for lunch, with
some patio seating.
Café Zeb
Tasty meals weekdays at Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall).
Common Grounds
On level F of Dwinelle Hall, Common Grounds brews Peet’s Coffee
and offers standard Peet’s coffee and tea products, as well as
grab-and-go items. Open weekdays.
Crossroads
Sample the nine distinct stations — from pizza to vegetarian to
Asian and Mexican cuisine — at Berkeley's sleek residence hall dining
facility, 2415 Bowditch St.
The Faculty Club
Open to the public, the club serves three meals a day on weekdays. The
salad bar is popular, and there's a pleasant pub.
Free Speech Movement Café
Surrounded by memorabilia of Berkeley's famed '60s movement, enjoy informal
indoor and outdoor dining all day. Located at the entrance to Moffitt
Undergraduate Library.
The Golden Bear
On Sproul Plaza at the César Chavez Center, this central eatery
is open weekdays.
International House Café
Enjoy bay views from the glassed-in patio or eat in the I-House cafeteria.
Open every day until midnight.
Jimmy Bean's Fifo Café
Tasty meals weekdays at the Haas School of Business.
Pat Brown's Grill
In the Genetics and Plant Biology Building, enjoy light fare from early
morning to late afternoon on weekdays.
Ramona's
Eat weekdays in Wurster Hall, headquarters of the College of Environmental
Design.
The Terrace
Enjoy outdoor meals on the rooftop terrace of the Bechtel Engineering
Center.
